Circulating Fluidized Bed Boilers

Circulating Fluidized-Bed (CFB) boiler technology has been in operation for many years, producing steam for process and electric power generation.
Worldwide, the use of CFB technology is increasing due to the ability to burn low-grade fuels such as high-ash, low-bitumeny and high-sulfur coals, lignite, anthracite, and petroleum coke.
CFB boilers meet the stringent NOx, SO2, CO, and particulate emissions requirement for these fuel.

Waste Heat Recovery Boilers

Waste heat boilers may be horizontal or vertical shell boilers or water tube boilers.
They are designed to suit individual applications ranging from gases from furnaces, incinerators, gas turbines the diesel exhausts.
The waste gases must contain sufficient usable heat to produce steam or hot water at the condition required.
Waste-heat boilers may be designed for either radiant or convective heat sources.

- Fluidized bed combustion boiler can remove SOx in the furnace while burning coal, using limestone as the fluidization medium.
- Since the fluidized bed combustion boiler ensures stable combustion at low temperature, as compared to the pulverized coal fired boiler, various types of coal can be used.
