Hydro power is a rapidly growing source of energy throughout the world. Over the years, very large hydro electric power projects have faced increasing public scrutiny due to ecological issues and displacement of population. However, due to more recent realization, all the environmental impact of using oil and other carbon fuels for generating power have shifted the emphasis on hydro power. In particular small and medium sized hydro power plants are the flavour of the day. These cause minimal environmental damage and also attract private sector investments. Ishan is actively engaged in promoting the development of small hydro power plants upto 20 MW range and medium hydro power plants from 20-50 MW. We are able to offer a complete solution including civil designs and electro-mechanical packages to suit customer needs. We are also able to provide consultancy to achieve optimal efficiencies during low-water seasons. The power plants supplied by us are custom-designed and manufactured to optimize the available parameters of water-supply and to ensure high efficiency and better return of investment depending on the site parameters. The equipment can be offered for low heads of 2 Mtrs. And upto very high heads of 500 Mtrs.
