an eminent Scientist and retired Professor & Chairman, Department of
Geology, Aligarh University, India. He was awarded the Fullbright
Fellowship and Smith-Mundt Scholarship in 1956 for pursuing higher
studies in Earth and Planetary Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University,
Baltimore, Md, USA His analytical bent of mind and keen sense of

Technology, Kanpur and has completed Post Graduate studies in

Mr. Navneet Singh Mr. Navneet Singh, a Mechanical
Engineer from Indian Railways Institute of Mech. Engg., Jamalpur, began
his career with the Indian Railways and moved into international
marketing during 1970's and has travelled extensively in South-East
Asia, Africa and Europe. He has over 40 years of experience in
negotiating and executing contracts for the supply of all types of
engineering products. His long years of interacting with customers in
many countries have developed his cross cultural communication skills. Mr. Navneet Singh joined Ishan as the Chief Executive in November 2000 and brought with him extensive knowledge about the business environment in the ASEAN region. His current focus is on increasing and diversifying the customer-base in Philippines and Indonesia as also developing new markets in other countries in the region. |

Mr.
Ajit Raje Ajit is a graduate from Indian
Institute of Technology, Mumbai, with a Post Graduate Award in Business
Engineering management from the University of Warwick (UK). In his career of over 25 years, Ajit has worked in a wide range of industries including metallurgical, ceramic and medical devices. He has at various times overseen functions in manufacturing, marketing and corporate strategy and has been active in the marketing function in the South East Asia region. Before joining Ishan as Executive Director, he was the Vice President of a medical devices manufacturers looking after operations and marketing. |

Dao Van Giang, Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Office Ms.
Dao Van Giang joined the Senior Management Team of Ishan 17 years ago in
1992 and has made significant contribution in diversifying the
customer-base in southern Vietnam. She has travelled extensively in the
ASEAN region and has excellent marketing and communication skills and
proved to be a dynamic leader of the Ishan team in HCMC office. |

Mr. Nguyen Tran Thanh Hai, Chief of Hanoi Office Mr.
Hai is an M.Sc - Mech. Engg. and has successfully used his technical and
management knowledge in finding new business opportunities since he
